CeU Award
The Club of Female European Entrepreneurs (CeU) was founded by Kristina Tröger, together with 40 other female entrepreneurs on December 4, 2015, in Hamburg.
The rapid growth to currently 700 female entrepreneurs in the network shows that the time was more than ripe for this new and modern network of successful women, which aims to support and promote women in business in a non-partisan and independent manner. The union sees itself as „the modern voice of the entrepreneur inside economics, politics and society“.
In almost all industries, women have it harder than male colleagues. With the new CeU Award CeU loves K❤️nst female artists are deliberately promoted and made visible through this award. We are particularly delighted to have the expert support of art historian, columnist, art consultant and CeU member Mon Muellerschoen, who will provide her expertise and know-how.
With the CeU’s vote, the 2023 Club will elect a female laureate for the first time.
The target group is female artists up to the age of 40. The candidates can apply themselves or be nominated. The call for entries will be advertised throughout Germany by the CeU, by the sponsors, partners, and in the media six months before the award ceremony.
The prize is intended to show public appreciation for the award-winning artist and to be an incentive for others, as well as to make a mark on the male-dominated art world. It makes the artistic achievements of women visible and thus promotes their importance in business, politics and society.
The award ceremony and the planned event framework have the task of giving the prize special value and creating a lasting appreciation of the artist. For her business activities, the award-winner will also receive an exclusive and personalized writing instrument from MONTBLANC. A free CeU membership for two years rounds off the award and creates a link to the CeU and thus to successful female entrepreneurs.
The prize money for the 1st prize is €5,000.
The jury is composed of Mon Muellerschoen (Art Consultant), Petra Winter (Madame), Dominik Reiner (GM Mandarin Oriental), Ingeborg Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein (Artist), Julia Jenisch (Chairwoman Förderkreis Deichtorhallen), Janna-Lena Baierle (HISCOX), Nicoline Wöhrle (WALA Foundation & Dr. Hauschka), Stella Melbye-Konan (gallery owner), Lisa Zeitz (Weltkunst)inquired, Regine Scharpff-Thiess (collector), Sophie Neuendorf (Artnet), Dirk Boll (Christies), Prof. Dr. Jetta Frost (Vice President Excellence University of Hamburg) and Kristina Tröger (CeU President).
