CeU-Award 2024
The Club of European Women Entrepreneurs e. V. (CeU) was founded by Kristina Tröger with the support of 40 female entrepreneurs on December 4, 2015 in Hamburg.
The rapid growth, to currently 700 women entrepreneurs, shows that the time was more than ripe for this new and modern network of successful female entrepreneurs that aims to promote women in business in a non-partisan and independent manner.
The association sees itself as „the modern voice of female entrepreneurs in business, politics and society“. In almost all sectors, women have a harder time than their male colleagues. With the CeU Award “CeU loves K❤️nst”, we aim to deliberately promote and celebrate female artists.
After our wonderful success in 2023 we will be presenting the award again in 2024. It is a particular honor that this award is the only art prize in Germany that is exclusively dedicated to women, since the Gabriele Münter Prize was last awarded in 2017. We are delighted about the competent support from art historian, columnist, art consultant and CeU member Mon Muellerschoen, who will support this art prize with her expertise and know-how.
With the vote of the CeU, the Club 2024 will select the award winners for the 2nd time.
The target group is young female artists up to age 40. The candidates can apply themselves or be nominated.
The competition is advertised throughout Germany, within the CeU, by the sponsors, partners and in the media for six months before the award ceremony.
The prize is intended to show public appreciation for the award-winning artist and be an incentive for others, as well as set social, high-profile accents. It promotes the artistic achievements of women to highlight their importance in business, politics and society.
The prize money for the award recipient is € 7,000.
There will be further prizes of € 3,500 and € 2,000 for the runners up.
A free CeU membership for two years rounds off the winnings and creates a connection to the CeU and thus to successful female entrepreneurs.
The exhibition of the finalists‘ works
